Bling it on

It's all about the bling this year, i'm in love with everything glitterish, i can't help myself...glitter and sparkle bring out the child in me :) So yesterday, me and my girlfriends were hanging out and we all did this super sparkling manicures. We couldn't stop staring at our nails, that's how magical and shiny they look (i know i know...i've used the word sparkling, glittery, shinny way to many times...but you have to agree, they're such pretty words right?)

We've used The Dawn is Broken from Essence's Vampire Love LE as base and added Hello Holo Essence topper...great combo right?

Caotic Circus

Hey ladies :) i just realized i haven't posted any nail polish pics in a while now, so i guess today will be the day to do so...how have you been doing?My life is pretty caotic at this moment, since i'm studying like crazy to make it to my 4th and last year in college. I know i'm gonna make it, i'm just really tired and i can't wait to take a break from everything...and i'm not talking about a weekend getaway or smth, i'm talking about a whole month of wandering around and relaxing. I already have a great plan, so i hope it comes true :P

Ok, now back to the nail polish...i was kinda bumed yesterday, so i had to make a happy and colorful manicure :) what better way to do so, than to put on a bright purple/pinkish shade and circus confetti on top?

Coquette Cutie and Orly Sec'n'Dry review

Prejšnji teden sem dočakala svoja prva Orly laka...naročila sem Coquette Cutie iz Pin Up kolekcije in Orly Sec'n'Dry nadlak. Zakaj sem se ob vseh reviewih Opijevega, Zoyinega, Seche Vite nadlaka odločila za Orlyjevega ne vem. Vem pa da me ni razočaral, zato sem se odločila da naredim review in da vam obenem pokažem še koketno kjutiko :P

Last week i got my first Orly nail polishes....i ordered Coquette Cuite from Pin Up collection and Orly Sec'n'Dry topcoat. Why did i choose Orly topcoat instead of Opi, Zoya or Seche Vite topcoat?i don' know...but i'm very happy i did cause it's great so i decided to do a review for you guys and show you Coquette Cutie as well :P

Na nohtih sta dva debelejša sloja Coquette Cutie saj sem imela nekaj manjših težav z nanašanjem. Lak je namreč precej gost in pri tankem nanosu pušča res zoprne črte, če pa ga vzameš preveč nastane poplava. Če bi se še malenkost bolj potrudila bi zadostoval 1 nanos kar je za večino velik +, se strinjate?Barva je čudovita, močna roza ki malenkost povleče na koralno (po swatchih tujih blogerk sem iskreno pričakovala da bo lak bolj koralen in ne tako roza). Kljub vsemu mi je izredno všeč in mislim da se lepo poda moji polti...na njem je nekaj posebnega in sumim da se bo na mojih nohtkih znašel kar nekajkrat to poletje :)

I have 2 thick coats of Coquette Cutie on my nails, cause i had some difficulties with application. Nail polish is kinda thick and it is streaky when you want to apply a thin coat but if you want to use to much there's a chance of flooding your nails :P if i was a bit more careful with it, one coat would do...great right?The color is beautiful, strong pink and it leans a little to the coral side. I really like it and i think it suits my skin tone well...it's smth special about it so i suspect it's gonna be on my nails often this summer :)

Po dveh debelejših plasteh Coquette Cuite sem nanesla Orly Sec'n'Dry topcoat v upanju da mi kar se da hitro posuši lak, ker mi v 80% uspe uničit manikuro v prvih 5ih minutah. Prva stvar ki sem jo opazila je da nadlak zelo lepo prekrije morebitne nepravilnosti, mehurčke, lise in podobne nadležne stvari. Ok, namažem in čakam...Po dveh minutkah sem se opogumila in preverila če je lak že vsaj približno suh in na moje veliko presenečenje ugotovila da je na dotik že suh. Super, izognila sem se pol ure nemoči in gledanja v luft v upanju da se mi lak vsaj približno posuši...hvala Orly :* čakam dalje in z gotovostjo lahko rečem da bi si lahko po 10ih minutah že lahko oblekla in zapela kavbojke, po 15ih minutah pa še zavezala čevlje in suvereno brskala po torbici...tudi za ključi! :D Poleg hitrega sušenja pa me je navdušila tudi obstojnost manikure. Prejšnja je zdržala 4dni brez problema (z minimalno zlizanimi konicami), zdajšnja pa tudi zgleda še nedotaknjena.

After 2 thick coats of Coquette Cutie i applied Orly Sec'n'Dry topcoat hoping it will dry my manicure fast cause i always seem to manage to destroy it in first 5 minutes. The first thing i noticed was that it evens out nail polish very nicely and corrects streakyness or bubbles and all that annoying stuff. Ok, so i apply it and i wait...After 2 minutes i carefully tried if it was dry already and to my big surprise it was already touch dry. Great, i managed to avoid being totally helpless for half an hour...thank you Orly :* i waited a bit more and i can honestly say i could put on my jeans and zip it after 10 minutes and i could totally tie my shoes after 15 minutes and even go through my purse looking for keys or smth!Besides fast drying time i was also really impressed with persistence of my manicure. My last manicure lasted for 4 days (minimum damage) and this one still looks perfect.

Sklep: Kljub temu da nadlaka ne morem primerjati z drugimi hitrosušečimi nadlaki je mene pozitivno presenetil in ga bom definitivno še kupila. Lak naredi obljubljeno, hitro posuši manikuro in zagotavlja dolgo obstojnost, obenem pa spretno zakrije tečne in nebodigatreba nepravilnosti. Priporočam!

In conclusion: Even though i can't compare this topcoat with other fast drying topcoats i'm totally impressed and i'll definitely buy it again. It does what it says, dries the manicure fast, makes it stay on for a long time and evens out any imperfections.

Pa sem nazaj po celem tednu in končno imam 10 minut časa da se malenkost pozabavam z blogom. Prejšnji teden je bil precej naporen, saj sem imela 2 zahtevna izpita in posledično praktično nič časa niti volje za bloganje. Ampak sem nazaj, in če bo šlo vse po sreči se tudi izpiti bližajo proti koncu. Končno!

Tokrat je cel teden nohtke krasil MUA lak (žal nima imena, samo številko), ki sem ga kupila v Londonu za 1funt. Nanos je precej kompliciran zaradi slabega čopiča ampak po dveh plasteh popravi prvi vtis. Barva je pa itak super za poletje, ane?

I'm finally back after a whole week, and i'm so happy i finally have time for blogging again. Last week was pretty intense cause i had two exams and absolutely no time nor will for blogging. But now i'm back, and if everything goes well my exams are coming to an end. Finally!

I've had this MUA nailpolish (it doesnt have a name) on my nails for the past week and it's still great!I bought it in London for 1pound. The application is a nightmare but after 2 coats it's much better. I think the color is perfect for summer, right?

Dolgi  obstojnosti se verjetno lahko zahvalim najnovejši pridobitvi in sicer lakcu Orly Sec'n'Dry. Prvi vtisi so odlični in kar se mene tiče zelo dobro opravi svojo nalogo. Naredim review?

Btw, i got my Orly Sec'n'Dry topcoat and i think it's great. It gets the job done and prevents  chipping or wearing off quite successfully i think...would you like me to do a review?

O ja...čutim da je poletje tik pred vrati. Temperature se višajo, izpitna obdobja bližajo in kot se spodobi misli uhajajo k morju, kopalkam, pesku med nogami, mojitotom, brezskrbnemu poležavanju na plaži...hm, a mogoče že preveč razmišljam o tem?No, nazaj v realnost. Dejstvo je da me čaka naporn mesec, ampak me te misli ^^ motivirajo in mi dajejo energijo za nadaljne izzive. Že imate plane za poletne počitnice?Kam vas bo zaneslo?

Oh yes...i can feel the summer knocking on the door. The temperatures are getting higher, exams are closer and closer but all i can think about is sand between my toes, swimsuits, sea, mojitos and carefree sunbathing...hm, am i thinking too much about it already?Eh, back to reality. I have a really busy month ahead of me, but all these things ^^ keep me motivated and give me energy for the next challenge. What are your plans for this summer?

OPI DS Extravagance

Danes imam na zalogi še ena lepotca iz Opijeve DS serije....ta ra ta raaaa ---> DS Extravagance. To je čudovit vijolično/ciklamen odtenek z bleščicami. Barva je super, škoda samo da nima tako izrazitega holo efekta na sončku kot OPIjev DS Signature :) ampak me ne moti...kljub temu gre za unikaten odtenek, ki bo zagotovo v stalni uporabi.

Today i have another beauty from OPI DS series...ta ra ta raaaa --> DS Extravagance. It's a beautiful purple/fuchsia shade with fine glitter. The color is great, i just wish the holo effect would be stronger like it is in OPI DS Signature :) but it's still a unique shade and i'm sure i'll use it all the time.

OPI DS Signature

Iskala sem ga povsod in ga na koncu našla na e-bayu :) še dobro, ker je preprosto čudovit...govorim o OPI DS Signature laku. Ste že slišali zanj?Me ne čudi :P No, jaz sem za tega lepotca slišala šele par tednov nazaj in se v trenutku zaljubila v pinkish odtenek. Že pri Sh-e 427 mi je bilo jasno da so holo lakci res nekaj posebnega, saj sem kar naprej na skrviaj gledala nohtke in to čudovito mavrico...ampak od tega pa sploh ne morm odtrgati oči. Kakšne barve!Predvsem na sončku pokaže vso svojo lepoto!No, ampak dovolj o tem. Naj slike govorijo zase -->

I looked for it everywhere and i finally got it on ebay. I'm really happy i did because it's just gorgeous...i'm talking about OPI DS Signature. Ever heard of it?I'm not surprised :P Well, i must admit i first saw it a few weeks ago and fell in love immediately with this pinkish shade. I've noticed i have a thing for hologram nail polishes with Sh-e 427, because i was looking at the rainbow on my nails all the time...but i simply can't take my eyes of this one. So many beautiful colors!It's so pretty on sun i can't even describe it...Well, enough about it's beauty. Let the picture's speak for themselves -->

Ja...let's go shopping!Pa sem šla res :) Ne samo da sem dobila tako zelo iskane modre peeptoese in torbico...slučajno je v vrečki pristalo še nekaj novitet, ki jih je mora omara tako zelo potrebovala. No, mogoče še ta stoti šal z rožicami res ni bil a must have, ampak je bil definitivno prerožast in sladek da bi ga pustila v trgovini.

Najprej novi salonarji&torbica....oboje je iz Zare in oboji mi je gorđs :P

Yes...let's go shopping!I sure did :) Not only i got those blue peeptoes and a bag i really wanted...i also bought some new things to refresh my closet, which really needed refreshing. Well, maybe the flowerprint scarf wasn't exactly a must have, but it was far to cute to be left in the store.

New nail polishes and a new haircut

Uf, same novosti...torej, nekaj časa nazaj sem si naročila 4 lakce in par dni nazaj so me že pričakali doma. Naročila sem si naslednje lepotce:

I got lots of new goodies...a few week ago i orderd these beauties and now i finally have them at home. Here they are:

Prvi, ki sem ga preizkusila je China Glaze First Mate, ki je čudovit temnomoder kremast odtenek. Všeč mi je da je polno prekriven že po prvem nanosu, zdaj pa samo upam da se bo čimdlje obdržal na nohtih :)

The first polish i tried is First Mate from China Glaze. It's a gorgeous dark blue creamy shade. I really like the fact that it's fully opaque in only one coat, i just wish it will stay on my nails pol a long time :)





In še ena novost. Prejšnji teden sem pri frizerju pustila približno 10cm las, in zdaj po svetu hodim s takole frizuro -->

And another new thing. Last week a went to my hairdresser and she cut about 10cm off...so now i walk around, looking like this -->



Sicer pogrešam da me nekaj žgečka po hrbtu, ampak se tolažim da bodo hitro zrasli :)

Although i miss the tickling feeling on my back, i said to myself...eh, they'll grow back soon :)

Pravljična barva, sanjski nanos in ugodna cena....vse to je She-427!Očaral me je v trenutku ko sem ga opazila na blogu od Anne (klik) in seveda letela v Dm po svojo flaško. Ni mi žal!To je definitivno eden izmed must have odtenkov za dneve ko ne veste kaj točno bi dale na nohte, ali za dneve ko se vam kam mudi saj se lak zelo hitro suši. Mene je popolnoma prevzel...pa vas?

Fairytail colour, dreamy application and a very wallet friendly price...i'm talking about She-427!I was blown away when i saw it on Anna's blog (click) and i had to have it ASAP. I'm not sorry!This polish is a must have for the days you don't know what to put on your nails or when you're in a hurry (cause it dries really fast). I love it...and you?

Barry M --> Strawberry Icecream

Današnji sonček me je spravil v super voljo, kjub temu da naj bi bil danes najbolj depresiven v celem letu. Sicer ne vem na kakšnih dejstvih tovrstne raziskave temeljijo, ampak jaz še vedno mislim da je dan točno tak kot si ga narediš sam. Moj je bil torej sončkast...pa vaš?

Ravno iz tega razloga sem se odločila za bolj pomladni lak znamke Barry M Strawberry Ice-cream, ki potrebuje 2 sloja za popolno prekrivnost. Odtenek definitivno upraviči ime, kaj se vam zdi?

Today's sunshine really made me happy, despite the fact it's supposed to be the most depressive day of the year. I'm not sure on what facts this kind of researches are based on, but in my opinion the day is exactly how we make it. ourselves. Mine was full of sunshine, and yours?

Today i decided to paint my nails with Barry M Strawberry Ice-cream that need two coats for full coverage. I think the shade definitely justifies its name, don't you think so?
